Before joining Sokoloff Lawyers, Slavko Ristich was a personal injury lawyer in New York State. While practicing in the USA, he specialized in all personal injury matters, including civil rights litigation, focusing on constitutional torts, premises liability and automobile accidents as they pertained to New York State’s no-fault law and the serious injury threshold.

Slavko is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. He also is the former head of the East Coast Chapter of the Serbian Bar Association of America, the former Chairman of the Human Rights Committee and a former Board Member of the Serbian Bar Association of America. He is admitted in the United States Southern and Eastern District courts of New York. He has also written and argued appeals for the Appellate Division First and Second Departments in the State Courts of New York. Slavko graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in 1996 and graduated from Brooklyn Law School, obtaining his Juris Doctor in 2000. Slavko Ristich was called to the Bar in the State of New York in 2001 and since that time has tried several cases in various counties in New York.

Slavko was called to the Bar in June 2010.

During his spare time, Mr. Ristich enjoys spending time with his two children and playing soccer and hockey.
