Bio

Nan received her LL.B. in 1987 from the University of Ottawa and was called to the Bar in 1989. Since being called to the Bar, she has worked exclusively in the personal injury and insurance dispute areas representing the interests of clients in all level of court, at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO), at the Legislative Appeals Tribunal (LAT) and in the alternate dispute resolution forum.

Nan has extensive experience in property and casualty litigation services having worked for a number of insurance clients in the past providing opinions, recommendations and strategy planning.

Nan’s area of practice include both first and third party automobile claims, coverage issues, home owners insurance disputes, slip and trip and falls, municipal liability, dog bite cases, disability claims, occupiers’ liability, alcohol liability, product liability and professional negligence cases.

Nan is an enthusiastic advocate with a solid background as a trustworthy negotiator, strategic thinker and problem solver with the ability to exhibit sound, practical judgment in conflict resolution. Her passion is to fight for the rights of the individual.
